Engine oil specification comparison guide
Compare engine oils by viscosity, API, ACEA, OEM specifications, documents and vehicle requirements without relying on brand reputation.
Published by MANNOL GCC
Technical selection note
Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's specified viscosity grade and required OEM approvals. If multiple products meet the same specification, choose based on availability, service interval requirements and official product documentation.
Start with the same standard
Engine oils should be compared product by product, not reputation by reputation. Place the required vehicle specification beside each candidate product and check which exact formulation matches.
Comparison checklist
Compare SAE viscosity, API service category, ACEA class, OEM specification wording, product data sheet, safety data sheet, pack size and intended application. A product with the same viscosity may still have a different specification set.
Do not overclaim equivalence
No comparison should treat entire product ranges as equivalent. A specific MANNOL product may be appropriate only when it matches the required specification and application for the vehicle.
For UAE buyers
Use Oil Finder and the product page before ordering. Send the MANNOL SKU, vehicle details, required specification, quantity and city so the team can confirm the current UAE supply route.
Request checklist
Details to prepare before contacting the team
A complete request helps the Sharjah team confirm current UAE availability faster and avoids guessing product compatibility.
- Vehicle or application details if relevant
- Required specification if known
- Product category or SKU
- Pack size, quantity and city
Next step
Use Oil Finder for the exact vehicle, then open product documents and request current UAE availability.
